- Monitoring the progress of scientific research activities
- Initiating partnerships with social and economic sectors
- Initiating actions to stimulate and support cooperation between national and international universities.
- Implementing programmes to improve the level of professors and update their knowledge.
- Monitoring the progress of the faculty's scientific council and maintaining its archives.
