The Digitalization Cell serves as an institutional framework for leading and coordinating digital transformation within the Faculty, in alignment with the orientations of the University and the higher education and scientific research sector in modernizing management practices and enhancing the quality of university services.
The Cell works to leverage digital solutions to improve academic, administrative, and communication processes, facilitate access to information and services, and streamline procedures for the benefit of students, faculty members, administrative staff, and managers.
Vision
The Cell aims to contribute to building a more efficient, organized, and connected digital faculty, relying on reliable information and simplified digital services, while leveraging technology to improve performance and the quality of university services.
Mission
The mission of the Cell is to support digital transformation within the Faculty and turn technology into practical tools for improving management and services. This is achieved by simplifying procedures, developing digital solutions, strengthening communication and information flows, and promoting a culture of effective technology use.
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Cell include:
- Assessing digital needs and identifying priorities.
- Proposing, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation of digital projects and solutions.
- Contributing to the digitalization and simplification of academic and administrative procedures.
- Developing and updating the Faculty’s website, digital services, and online platforms.
- Organizing digital information and documents and improving access to them.
- Providing user support and promoting digital literacy.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of digital services and proposing improvements.
Strategic Objectives
The Cell aims to reduce reliance on paper-based procedures, improve the speed and quality of services, facilitate access to information, and strengthen communication within the Faculty. It also seeks to improve data organization, support decision-making, and develop digital services that are scalable and adaptable to future needs.
Towards a More Digital Faculty
The Digitalization Cell views digital transformation as a gradual and continuous process that begins with understanding the Faculty’s needs and identifying its priorities, followed by designing, testing, evaluating, and continuously improving appropriate solutions in order to create tangible value for the university community.
